Forest City is proud to work closely with the Navy to support our residents.We're involved
with several programs that are designed to make life easier for our residents and their families
as they move in, move out, or deal with the challenges of having a deployed spouse.

Change of Homeport 
Forest City knows it can be tough to move to a new homeport but we work hard to make it easier on

Smooth Move Workshop
Forest City participates in Fleet and Family Services Smooth Move Workshop every month. We
answer any and all questions residents have about the vacating process. We're always sad to see
you go, but we want to make sure you have a smooth transition to your next home! 

Family Readiness Groups 
Forest City supports Family Readiness Groups by making our Community Centers available for
meetings. Setting up your FRG in a room is simple and easy. Just have Command write a letter on
letterhead saying that the FRG is authorized to hold meetings in the community center you would like,
on the day you want it. It also needs to list who is authorized to pick up keys (the person picking up
keys must be a Forest City resident) and the type of events being held.
