Forest City Residential Management Offers Sled Hill
Friday, December 04, 2009
"Forest City is excited to announce the opening of the Forrestal Village Sled Hill. The Sled Hill, located at the southwest corner of Forrestal Village, on Great Lakes Drive, was created from the soil removed to build the retention ponds in Forrestal Village. Rather than relocating the soil to a landfill to simply take up space, Forest City and the Navy sought to create an amenity for the military families to enjoy during Chicago's famous winters. So, give Old Man Winter a proper welcome and break out your favorite sled. The Forrestal Sled Hill is open 7 days a week, from dawn to dusk. Guidelines and rules for the Sled Hill are located below on the Forest City website at www.fcnavygreatlakes.com, or you may call 847-473-4655. Happy snow and happy sledding!"
