Welcome home to Navy Great Lakes and NSWC Crane professionally managed by Forest City Residential Management (FCRM) where Exceptional Service is our standard. It is our honor to service you and have you as neighbors in our communities! It is our goal to ensure a smooth transition into your FCRM home; we look forward to assisting you in your relocation.
For Naval Station Great Lakes, your first point of contact for
housing qualifying eligibility will be with our housing partners at
the Navy Family Housing Office, located at the Welcome Center, Bldg
8100. NWSC Crane Family Housing Office is located at Bldg. 1. Your
Navy Housing representative will review your application with
respect to your pay grade and familiy size to determine
eligibility. You will then be referred to our Forest City
Residential Management Relocation Office, conveniently located
within the Welcome Center. Once your families housing needs are
assessed, we will tour the neighborhoods in a courtesy van to find
your preferred home. Upon acceptance of the home, you will complete
two forms for the resident file as well as a one-year rental
agreement. The rent and utilites for your home are equal to the BAH
for your pay grade. Payment by allotment is initiated by our
account specialists - making payments easy!
To assist in your transition, we provide relocation information
packets including change of address kits, a convenient listing of
telephone numbers and other information that you may find helpful
in your move to Navy Region Midwest. For us, it's not just about
renting you a house, its making you feel at home in your new
community.
We are here to answer any questions you may have, so please feel
free to contact our Relocation Office at (847) 689-4312 or email
our Relocation and Resident Services Manager, Terina Nelson,
